How to contact support

Getting started (quick steps)

  1. Take a clear screenshot or photo of your trading chart.
  2. Upload the image to Apex AI.
  3. Review the generated trade idea and rationale.
  4. Save it to History for later reference.

Best practices for chart images

  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, HEIC. Prefer PNG for clarity.
  • Ensure key elements are visible: ticker, timeframe, price axis, recent candles.
  • Avoid heavy annotations that obscure price action; crop away unrelated panels.
  • Use good lighting and minimal glare for camera photos; hold device steady.
  • If an upload fails, try a smaller image (under a few MB) and stable internet.

Troubleshooting

Uploads not working

  • Check network connection and try again.
  • Reduce image size or switch to PNG.
  • Close and reopen the app/browser; ensure you’re on the latest version.

Ideas seem off or low-quality

  • Include timeframe, instrument, and most recent price action in frame.
  • Crop out unrelated indicators, watchlists, or chat windows.
  • Use a sharper image with less compression.

History not saving or missing

  • Confirm you’re signed in (if applicable) and online.
  • Wait a few seconds after saving; refresh the History page.
  • If it persists, email jack@sdsau.ai with details.

Using History

  • Save any generated idea to your History to revisit later.
  • From History, you can view details and the original image.
  • If you need data export or deletion support, contact jack@sdsau.ai.

How to capture a great screenshot

iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  • Face ID devices: press Side Button + Volume Up together.
  • Touch ID devices: press Home + Power together.
  • Crop to include ticker, timeframe, and recent candles.

Android

  • Most devices: press Power + Volume Down together.
  • Use the edit tool to crop out unrelated UI elements.

macOS

  • Press Shift + Command + 4 for a selection screenshot.
  • Drag to select the chart area; release to capture.

Windows

  • Press Win + Shift + S to open Snipping Tool.
  • Select the chart region; save as PNG for clarity.

Known limitations and best practices

  • Heavily annotated or cluttered charts reduce analysis quality.
  • Very low-resolution or blurry photos may yield generic suggestions.
  • Obscure or custom indicators may not be interpreted reliably.
  • Include timeframe and the latest price action for better context.
  • Results are suggestions only—validate with your own analysis.

Detailed troubleshooting

Common error messages

  • Upload failed: Check connectivity, retry with a smaller PNG.
  • Timeout: Network hiccup—try again on a stable connection.
  • Too many requests: You may have hit a temporary rate limit; wait a minute and retry.

If results are blank or generic

  • Ensure the chart fills most of the image and is in focus.
  • Include axes and labels so context is clear.
  • Re-capture the screenshot with fewer overlays.

Report an issue checklist

  • Describe what you tried and what you expected to happen.
  • Attach the chart image you used (if comfortable sharing).

Data handling and your privacy

Uploaded images are processed to generate trade ideas. You can choose to save ideas to your History.

  • We don’t sell your data. We may log minimal technical metadata for reliability.
  • If you want your saved ideas exported or deleted, contact jack@sdsau.ai.
  • If third‑party services are used to analyze images, processing is performed securely.
